Attendance

Behavior
All students are expected to behave respectfully towards their teachers and other students. We do not tolerate bullying or any other type of intimidation. We want dance class to be fun and a stress reliever for the students. If this is not the case, please tell us and we will deal immediately with the situation. Any student not following the rules of the studio or the instructor will be given a fair warning. If behavior continues the teacher will talk to the parents or guardians of the student. If behavior does not improve, the student will be asked to leave the studio and all deposits and payments are non-refundable.
For their safety please do not allow children to run through the hallways or stand on chairs. Siblings are not allowed in the dance rooms.
Studio Guidelines
No street shoes, food, or drinks (besides water) are allowed in our studios.
Parents must come in the building when dropping off and picking up their children. We are not responsible for students unattended in the lobby or parking lot. Students are not allowed to wait outside. All students must use a dance bag for their shoes. No parents or guests are allowed in the classroom during classes or private lessons. Students are not allowed in the studios without their teacher.
Recital/Performance
There will be a holiday performance in December for students to demonstrate what they have learned thus far. Information will be distributed closer to the date of the shows.
The end of the year recital will recap what the students have learned throughout the course of the year. They will be required to wear a costume. The date will be determined. There will also be a mandatory dress rehearsal for each class. Students are expected to wear their dance costumes as if it were the recital. If there are students or siblings in multiple classes, we cannot guarantee they will be in the same show. We will do our best to accommodate.
Payments
Payments are due at the beginning of each month. A late fee of $10 will be assessed to each account not paid by the 10th of the month. This will be reinforced starting with October tuition. All payments and deposits are non refundable. Two payments will be due for the costume(s), one in January and one in March.
We have 2 sessions. One is September-December and the other is January-June. The amount due is the whole session but you can pay monthly. If you decide to not continue the session the whole session must be paid for.
Starting in September a full month’s tuition is to be paid regardless of the number of lessons given. Please remember most have 4 lessons, some months have 3 lessons while others may have 5. If payments are consistently late students may be asked to discontinue their classes. We do not reimburse for weather closings but will offer make up classes. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.
